Preparations before installing the linear guide:
1. Machine level calibration.
Requirements: Place two blocks of equal height and a marble pressure gauge on the installation base, and place an accurate level gauge on it to adjust the reference level. The requirement is that the base is convex (2-3 grids).
2. Check the roughness, flatness, straightness and appearance of the guide rail installation base surface.
Requirements: After the level adjustment is completed, the flatness of the main rail installation base surface (we usually use the guide surface near the right column as the guide rail) must be measured with a laser interferometer. The flatness of the main rail installation base surface is allowed to be {{0}}.05 mm per 10 meters, and the flatness of the entire stroke is 0.03 mm. The roughness requirement is 1.6, and the appearance has no casting defects.
3. The chamfering treatment between the mounting base of the guide rail and the mounting base of the side of the guide rail.
Requirements: The chamfer radius is less than or equal to 3.5mm. If the chamfer is too large or protruding, it should be treated with oil stone in time, otherwise the guide rail installation accuracy is poor or the slider is disturbed.
4. Machining of threaded holes for locking the base of the guide rail.
Requirement: Ensure that the location of the mounting screw holes is correct, and the center distance of each connecting screw hole is greater than {{0}}.1 mm or less than 0.1 mm. In order to ensure high-precision machining of screw holes, CNC equipment is required for positioning machining.
5. Check the guide rails after opening the box.
Requirements: Check whether the guide rail is qualified, whether it is damaged or corroded, clean the anti-rust oil, and remove the burrs, bumps and dirt on the assembly surface.
